Overview

The Office of Academic Affairs at IISER Berhampur oversees the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Institute’s academic programs. As the central academic administrative unit, the office ensures that curricular activities, academic policies, and evaluation processes are conducted with rigor, transparency, and alignment to the Institute’s vision of excellence in science education and research.

The office coordinates with academic departments, programme coordinators, faculty members, and statutory bodies to support a seamless academic experience for students across all programmes. Its responsibilities include course registration, timetable coordination, academic record management, examination and grading processes, and policy administration related to curriculum and academic progression.

With a strong commitment to academic integrity, student support, and continuous improvement, the Office of Academic Affairs plays a critical role in maintaining high academic standards and fostering an environment conducive to effective learning and scholarly growth. Through efficient systems, structured processes, and collaborative engagement, the office contributes significantly to strengthening the academic infrastructure of IISER Berhampur.
