The Central Advanced Instrumentation Facility (CAIF) at IISER Berhampur was established with the aim of catering to the interdisciplinary research needs with its high-end, sophisticated instruments. The facility is created by installing state-of-the-art analytical instruments to be used by internal as well as external users. Several instruments, such as NMR (400 & 700), XRD (Powder & Single Crystal), MRI, Mass Spectroscopy, FE-SEM, XPS, etc., have already been installed and are functional. Other high-end instruments like 200 KV Cryo TEM Core System, XRF, EPMA, etc., are being installed and will be available soon for booking.
