Dr. Tribikram Pradhan is an
Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in the Department of Computer Science at the
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur, Odisha.
Prior to joining IISER Berhampur, he served as an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Tezpur University, Assam.
Earlier, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and
Communication Technology at Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal,
Karnataka.
He received his Ph.D. in
Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU),
Varanasi, in 2020. He holds an M.Tech. in Software Technology from the School
of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE), VIT University, Vellore, in
2013, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Biju Patnaik
University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Odisha, in 2010.
His research focuses on
Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Recommender Systems, Information
Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Network Science, and Social Network
Analysis, with emerging interests in Explainable and Trustworthy AI, Food
Informatics, Digital Agriculture, and Healthcare Informatics. His work has been
published in leading international journals and conferences, including
Knowledge-Based Systems, Future Generation Computer Systems, Information
Sciences, Neurocomputing, Expert Systems with Applications, International
Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, ACM SIGIR, IEEE ICSA, PACIS, and
ACM FIRE. He is currently associated with an industry-sponsored research
project on the design and development of an emotion-aware personalized food
recommender system.
Beyond research, he is
committed to learner-centric education, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and the
integration of Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning. As the
former NBA Coordinator of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at
Tezpur University, he played a key role in implementing OBE practices and
strengthening accreditation initiatives. He has delivered numerous invited
talks, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, and seminars on
Generative AI, AI-powered Tools in Teaching and Learning, Digital
Transformation in Academia, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Recommender
Systems. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and
the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). He also serves as a
reviewer for several reputed international journals and conferences and
actively welcomes collaborations with students and researchers interested in
developing trustworthy, explainable, and socially impactful AI solutions for
real-world applications.
