I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Sciences at IISER Berhampur. My research lies at the intersection of molecular self-assembly, supramolecular chemistry, and life-like systems, with a particular interest in understanding and designing dynamic, adaptive, and out-of-equilibrium molecular systems.
My scientific journey began at JNCASR, Bangalore, with Prof. Subi J. George, where I developed a strong foundation in supramolecular polymer chemistry and molecular self-assembly. I subsequently expanded my research into biomolecular assemblies, chemical reaction networks, and out-of-equilibrium systems during my time in the Walther Lab at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the Ulijn Lab at the Advanced Science Research Center, City University of New York.
I strongly believe in the power of collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing, and I enjoy engaging with researchers across disciplines. Outside the laboratory, I enjoy long walks, travelling, and exploring new cultures. I am always open to meaningful scientific conversations and potential collaborations—feel free to connect!
